Born in 1983 in Fânzeres, Porto, Serafim is an artist with a non-rational expression, always moved by the unconscious in his creations. Being an extreme case of singularity, nothing in his relationship with the world, including his artistic expression, obeys the expected procedures and predetermined conventions.
Since ever, he realizes that only the different is not indifferent to him, reason why he reduces his experiences in life to certain hermetic and peripheral spaces of society.

Diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, he found in the arts a medium where his exceptional abilities were emphasized, instead of the other environments where the emphasis was almost always given to his disabilities.
His singular skills lead him to create unusual meticulous works, with surprising associations of forms and colors and bizarre narratives, not always comprehensible to those who are short-sighted and narrow-minded, but extremely exciting to all those who have their senses widely awakened.
